If I take someone out of my "close friends" group on FaceBook, will they know about it?
Long story short I've got a "Friend" on FB who is honestly crazy, sometimes I'm scared he'll come hurt me if I piss him off too much.
I know that if I un-friend him, he'll know, so I keep him on my normal friends list. But if I take him out of close friends, will he be notified, or would he see it on my profile or anything?
Please, I'm scared that if he finds out he'll find where I live, or call me up and tell me that he's going to kill himself because I don't want to be friends with him (again).

I think taking him off "close friends" won't notify him but he may notice it on his/your profile as well. Let me just say that facebook should be the least of your worries hun..if your afraid of him then maybe you should take precautions when dealing with him facebook is very personal all your inforMation is there, yor family pictures, what u do, how you feel,is all in the open for him to view. Please block him from seeing your newsfeed, status updates, pictures,whatever else u deem personal. He's crazy!!! Change your number as well. He isn't stable and its going to make your life a living hell being"friends" with him..be careful! Take care.
