The encounter between different traditions can help to renew every tradition. We know peace cannot exist if religions are always in conflict with each other. If we want to stop the conflicts between religions, we have to start the dialogue between differ ant traditions with an open attitude. We know religion has been the cause of war in so many centuries. Remember that the Church has been responsible for so much suffering, so much war. It is our task to build a Sangha, to build a church in such a way that the Holy Spirit, that mindfulness, should prevail so that tolerance becomes possible and understanding becomes possible in order to make compassion possible. This you practice for peace and you practice for the future of our children and grandchildren.

Not all people argue with other people's faith and belief. There are also GOOD-HEARTED people with religion who get along with other's.

I think those who argue just wants to get something out of it that will make them feel "successful" or whatever idiot things they think will get. I am an Islam and i don't hate other people or argue with other people's faith. I have a lot of Christian friends and we really respect each other's culture and tradition. We sometimes tell jokes about some religions including our own (in a good way though...).

When someone talks really bad about my religion, i tell them to watch what they're saying and/or ask them if they were raised that way by their parents ( y'know...lecture stuff, lol). what I hate about a person is someone who has a bad attitude and especially those with no respect to other people.

    peace be to you!

    Source(s): I don't know how to explain the "bathroom-thing" though....religion and bathrooms....pfft..XD

We have men's and women's toilets over here.

I'd be happy to walk on the skreet with you, though. Just so long as I don't have to do my business perched awkwardly on a wall-mounted urinal.

“Not everyone saying to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter into the kingdom of the heavens, but the one doing the will of my Father who is in the heavens will.  Many will say to me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and expel demons in your name, and perform many powerful works in your name?’  And yet then I will confess to them: I never knew YOU! Get away from me, YOU workers of lawlessness. (Matthew 7:21-23)

Really, then, by their fruits YOU will recognize those [men]. (Matthew 7:20)

    What are these fruits?

True worship should unite believers in love. Jesus said “I am giving you a new commandment, that you love one another; just as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this all will know that you are my disciples, if you have love among yourselves.” (John 13:34, 35)

True Christians would not take up arms against one another in war or any other conflicts.

Jesus taught his followers to pray: “Our Father in the heavens, let your name be sanctified. Let your kingdom come. Let your will take place, as in heaven, also upon earth.” (Matthew 6:9,10)

Here Jesus speaks about the sanctification of God’s name ***Jehovah*** (Psalms 83:18)

He prayed for God’s Kingdom to come and his will to take place on earth just as it is in heaven.

Jesus also said: “They are no part of the world, just as I am no part of the world,” (John 17:14)

These fruits ***self-sacrificing love***the desire to sanctify Jehovah’s name***the proclamation of God’s Kingdom*** separateness from the world*** and faith in the Bible*** all characterize true worshippers and set them apart from other religions.

Jehovah's Witnesses never take part in or support war in any way. They stay clear of political and social controversies.

They are known for publicizing the name Jehovah and for proclaiming the good news of God’s Kingdom as mankind’s only hope for peace in 236 countries around the world. They distribute Bible based literature and teaching aides in over 470 languages.

They are a united in a worldwide brotherhood of people of diverse nationalities, languages, ethnic backgrounds, and races who worship of the one true God, Jehovah. There is no other group or organization on earth who has been able to accomplish that.

They will be happy to help you learn about the true God, find out what he requires of you, and enjoy the peace and security that come from worshipping God in the way that he approves.

(John 17:3) This means everlasting life, their taking in knowledge of you, the only true God, and of the one whom you sent forth, Jesus Christ.
