Its 100 degrees out (with 65% humidity) and people are jogging...are they just stupid?

Or is there some point to doing this?

Update:

I don't mean to insult anyone, I had just heard it was dangerous and peeps have died and all so I was wondering.

Update 2:

I didn't call anyone stupid, I asked if they were stupid for doing the activity in question. Reading comprehension kinda low for a premed. And don't tell me what I actually meant to say; you are not me. Lastly, words and phrases can have multiple meanings (e.g., "being anal").

If you stay hydrated and are acclimated to the weather it is not a big deal.

The point in exercise is varied and depends on the individual.

When it is very hot I run before sun rise, and if in the sun wear a hat and sunglasses.

Not everyone can run at the time they wish and run when they can run.

Peeps are marshmallow treats. They aren't living things, so how can a peep die? (speak like an adult)

Yes, running the heat and humidity can lead to heat stroke without proper hydration and over training occurs. Training in the heat does require special technique, but it is very possible and the likelihood of heat stroke and injury is very low with an experienced and educated person.

Just because you "hear" something, doesn't make it fact, and I would refrain from calling other people stupid (PS you can't call people stupid and say "I don't mean to insult you". Yes you do.) until you actually KNOW what you have HEARD is correct.

So in Celsius that would be close to 38°, I think you would be crazy to do that as there is a risk of heat exhaustion or heat stroke.
