Why dont u get deadly snakes in cold places ??

I know in scotland u get adders but why dont u get really deadly ones here ??

    Snakes are cold blooded. So they prefer to be in hotter places live a desert or rain forest. If they get too cold they will freeze and die

    Cos Britain used to be marshland before people inhabited all corners of the island. Marshland is not a good habitat for most reptiles. It's too cold and wet for them. Only a few reptiles can survive in our cold conditions.

    It just do happens that we don't have any really venomous snakes as they aren't adapted to our weather
