can my two bearded dragons live together?

ok so my brother has just brought in another bearded dragon to put in the same tank as his other one (stupid i know). They are the same age and the same size. Will they be ok for now? The tank is large enough for them at the min but at what age should the be separated or can they live together permanently? I obviously don't know the sex of them yet as they are very small

I really don't need any nasty answers as i know it is a stupid thing for him to do but any help would be great

Thanks in advance

They should be fine. I have two that have been together for 1 1/2 yrs (that's how old they are) they never fight, sometimes they get territorial and bob their head up and down but the resolve their issues on their own. You will eventually have to separate the when they are full grown. Two males WILL fight over dominance. If you gave a male and female the female will get man-handled if the make wants to mate

A 75 gallon tank could in all probability be the smallest you are going to be able to desire to flee with, yet even an 80 gallon tank could be extra advantageous. bear in ideas that as quickly as you improve to a extra robust tank that it takes extra capability to warmth the warmth area, so one common basking easy isn't as efficient in coming up a basking section in a 75 gallon tank because it could in a 40 gallon tank. 2 women could desire to doubtlessly stay fortuitously at the same time although. there'll in all probability be one or 2 territory spats yet known they could desire to get alongside wonderful - and as an advantage you get to work out beardie behaviours which you does not get to work out with only one, like head bobbing, arm waving and piling on surprising of another to ascertain dominance.
