Would watching a video count?

So I'll be using my school's internet on my own laptop, and they let us know that they'll be fining like $20,000 per song you download illegally. I get it, I understand that. I won't be downloading anything but my question is, if I watch a video, say from gorillavid or shockshare, would that count? I mean I won't DOWNLOAD anything I'd just watch it like a regular youtube video.

    Yes. It IS a download while you are watching it, if it did not download to the machine you could not watch it. the difference is it is a streaming download. And it will probably send a record of it to the IT.

    Don't go to those websites, espcially on school internet.
