If you didn't get a recovery disk with your computer (most companies don't give them anymore), you probably have a recovery partition.
Regardless of whether you have a recovery disk or a recovery partition, the first thing you want to do is to find everything that you want to save and transfer it to a removable media like a cd/dvd, USB stick or exernal hard drive.
After you have everything transferred that you want to save, pop the didsk in and restart your computer... it's all self-explanatory from there.
IF you don't have a recovery disk and never got one, Google your computer's exact name and model number + recovery partition, and if your rig has one, you'll be able to find how to use it.
Good luck.

Use a back up disk or if you don't have that... You need a format it using a CD then use your windows installer that came with your PC
