If you have braces, does getting hit in the mouth hurt more?

I might need braces, but I also tend to get hit in the mouth quite often. I get hit in the mouth my by 4-year-old neighbour, I get hit in the mouth by my friends, I get hit in the mouth by dogs when they're jumping up to lick my face, and I sometimes get hit my my brothers. Once, my friend hit me in the mouth with his hockey stick. Accidentally. It hurt like hell.

So, would it hurt more to get hit in the mouth if I have braces? I handle pain well, but I still don't like pain.

Thanks.

Yes, you can get stabbed and sliced by braces if you get hit in the mouth, but thing is that you get used to it and your inner mouth toughens up, if you know you will be hit though check your mouth out carefully before leaving the orthodontics for any loose wires of pointy bits.

I 'd get a 2nd opinion and might be 0.33. Are you certain it can be the braces or the doctors bank account that's low, children's mouths are still developing and don't have all permanent teeth. Is your youngster self aware or just appears like a average eight 12 months historic. What do you suppose? How long is that this process speculated to take, youngsters/young adults ought to be compliant. I anticipate in case your little one needed braces, that probably they desire a La forte procedure to re align their jaw and bite? Is this the case. If now not, run to an extra health care provider, fast. Share your issues and say you wish to have to attend, ask the penalties if now not done now and why, if the doc is figidty, or frightened or has low sufferers numbers, run, run, run. Additionally, do a word of mouth and a search on-line for licensing complaints. I've not often noticeable kids in the OR for jaw alignment or see youngsters at that young age with braces, look around, do you see them? Glasses , maybe, braces, no longer very so much.

Yes, for sure. Braces are basically complete metal, so if you get hit, they will slice the soft inside of your mouth. You should definately put wax or something soft over the top of your braces. Where I went, they gave me wax sticks just incase there was a piece of metal rubbing my lips that was uncomfortable.

Yes, it will hurt more. It's also more likely to need stitches if you're hit in the mouth with braces...

Of course, you'll have steel wrapping your teeth. If your lips hit it after a projection of strength, it will likely hurt much more than if your lips would just have hit your teeth. And wow, those are a lot of hits in the mouth!
