What is around the Rogers Centre?

I am going to a Tigers/Blue Jays game at the Rogers Centre. I have never been there before and it would only be my second time in Toronto, my first time I don't even remember much.

What are some places around there (20 miles or so) that would be fun to check out pre-game? Just stuff to do to keep my girlfriend and I occupied? Also, any good restaurants you guys would recommend?

Thanks.

The CN Tower is literally right beside the Rogers Centre.

The views of Toronto are spectacular from its various observation decks:

So are the views from its revolving restaurant, the aptly named '360'.

Personally, it's one of my favourite restaurants in Toronto:

The ultimate view, however, requires having the guts to take a stroll outside on the roof:

The CN Tower has even more stuff, so here's their official site with all the rest:

Both Rogers Centre and the CN Tower are in Toronto's Entertainment District which is packed with things to do and see:

Between Rogers Centre and Lake Ontario is the Toronto Waterfront, home to all sorts of stuff including the Harbourfront Centre:

In the CN Tower videos, you can see the Toronto Islands in Toronto harbour.

Ferries to and from the Islands are frequent, and there's various things to see and do.

You shouldn't have too much trouble finding parking. There's a bunch of lots in the area. Having said that, it would be a good idea to check out if there's anything else big happening at the same time in the nearby Air Canada Centre (leafs or raptors game/ concert) or the MTCC (Metro Toronto Convention Centre), that would drive up demand for parking and increase the cost charged at lots. As for prices, expect to pay around $20, although you will likely see lots for $15-$30.
