Points on yahoo answers?

i just got 11 points for a best answer i was just wondering how? i thought it was 10 for best answer!!

thanks guys i immediately realised as soon as i put the question up wasted 3 points i guess :D thanks anyway

    You had a thumbs up for your answer. Just like if you had 3 thumbs up, you would have gotten 13 points instead of 10.
