Panasonic VT25 will not display when connected to my laptop via HDMI?

I have a Toshiba laptop and I cannot get it to connect to my Panasonic VT25 plasma tv through HDMI. I know that the cable works and that the connections are good because I have connected my laptop to my Sharp LCD tv with no problem. Also my PS3 is connects and shows on the VT25 through that input without a problem. I thought the problem is with the resolution but the specs on the VT25 say that its resolution is 1920x1080. Does anyone have a clue how to fix this?

Make sure that your laptop is configured to output the video and audio via the HDMI cable. Make sure that you also select the source input on the tv that you have the cable connected to. Hope this will help you out.

Ensure that your pc has aid for Ps3 [i.E. Its driver is installed, if you need one], and that you've got switched your Ps3 settings to HDMI output, alternatively than RGB.
