Do you think it is wise we allow the police to be the only people to have weapons? What kind of police state would we be living in? So which is it?. Sorry, but it's absurd to compare a bad police shooting of a man, to an individual with semi-automatic weapons shooting 70 people in a movie theater.
And how do you suppose the situation would have been different if the Anaheim man had been heavily armed, and had fired back on the cops? You don't think the Samuel Jackson-type "serious anger" wouldn't have rained down on that community?

I 100% agree. Firearms give power to the american people. Without our guns the government gains complete control over our lives. in communist countries like the soviet union and cuba, the first thing the government did was take away everyones guns, because that one right makes all others possible.

Sensible regulation is obviously needed in Colorado.
Not an outright ban, not a repeal of the second amendment.

Get it through your head. There are like 2 gun banning advocates in congress. The rest, including most americans, believe that sensible regulation is needed. Obviously in colorado their laws are not working.
