The icon for my printer is not displayed in the desktop...?

I installed successfully for second time my HP Deskjet 2050 printer which somehow had been uninstalled but this time the icon is not displayed on the desktop. I can't find the way to get it displayed or to make copies. I use Windows Vista on my computer.

    Click start ► all programs ► locate your printer.

    Right click on it ► select send to ►

    Then click on send to desktop as a desktop shortcut.

    To just print press Ctrl + P

    To restore the printer icon

    Right click a blank space in the toolbar area, and click command bar
