Having trouble with my junpshot?
I'm having trouble elevating. I'm shooting when my toes are barely off the ground and when I try to shoot after I jump it feels weird...any thing I can do to fix this?

Maybe you don't jump the right way when you do your jump shots, do you jump just up and down? When you jump, it has to be a small hop forward not up and down. You shoot as you are jumping. Go outside and try it out.

Practice makes perfect.
Many great jump-shooters don't elevate as high when they shoot a jumper. Chalmers barely jumps when he takes a three, but it doesn't get blocked because he only shoots it when he's open.
First, try it without the ball. Jump, and do a shooting motion. Watch videos to see how to shoot well. Then incorporate it with an actual ball.
Good luck.

Usually when people ask a question they already know the answer. If you don't jump high enough...JUMP HIGHER. What else can we say?
