Does anyone have information about this pocket knife??
I am interested in buying a 1940's la vespa pocket knife which was made in Italy. I really want to know more about this knife. Does anyone know any information about the history of the company that made this knife or anything about this knife?
Here is a link to what the knife actually looks like. http://www.iknifecollector.com/profiles/blogs/1940...

I managed to find a little info, but nothing on that specific knife. It seems that La Vespa is most famous for stillettos, but also did make other knives. Or I should say, the company that used the La Vespa tang stamp.
from the first link:
"LaVespa was a tang stamp that was used by Coltellerie Zoppis who was based in Milan,Italy but had their knives made in Maniago,Italy."
Looks like the company is still selling knives by lots of different makers, but I couldn't find any current production La Vespas. Translated page is the second link.
