Singing Part of Your World for auditions- Tips?

This year I have a few auditions. One for my school's showchoir and musical (which will be my third and final year in them) and one for a performing arts high school. For right now I've decided to sing Part of Your World from The Little Mermaid. I have a soprano voice and have a wide range, but I am more comfortable in the higher register. If you have any tips on singing this song or have any suggestions for other sons that may be good for me please leave an answer below!

Thanks! (:

Good luck. That's a good song choice and takes a little bit of acting to make that a really enticing song. As for other suggestions, you should take I Won't Say (I'm In Love) from Hercules into consideration. It takes a little less moving around. If you want any performing tips just e-mail me at piratesgirl88@yahoo.com! I've been performing for 7 years, and I've got a major audition in 3 days with Brenda Song. Good luck!

To be honest, I wouldn't recommend that song. It's horribly overdone and every other kid will have already done it.

And the panel may well be sick to death of it.

Do pick another - ideally from a musical, not a Disney movie.
