Is the relationship between Christians and God an abusive one?

It seems like God is the abusive Boyfriend and the Christians are playing the role of the Desperate girlfriend. Because no matter how many bad things can happen to them they always seem to stay with it.

    They believe a sky fairy drowned everyone on the planet except for one family because he didn't like the way they failed to kiss his a**. Seems a bit of an abusive relationship to me...
