Marineland double bright led lighting system help????
I getting one of these lights and I know that they have a daytime and night time light. Should I leave the daytime light on at day and nighttime at night and should they be left on all the time. Will this make a lot of algae. ?????? Please answer.

If the light isn't going to be supporting plants then to answer your question is simple. Leave daytime light on for as long as you want (but not over 10 hrs or it will stress your fish potentially) and night time one on for a few hours. It is good to turn the light off completely as well, after this time.
Algae is caused from more than one issue, lighting usually helps the occurence of algae along, but is not alone the cause of algae. Algae is caused by one or a mixture of these things; uneaten food, excess nutrients, particularly silicates, nitrates and phosphates.

So long as you don't seem to be doing are living crops any mild can be best, and the double vibrant led fixture can be pleasant due to the fact that it has respectable color spectrum and extra depth than the only vibrant gentle. Note: you won't be doing are living crops with africans I expect. For those who do a reside planted tank, then this gentle is probably not rather intense adequate for a deep tank like yours.
