How will mountain lion run on a mid 2007 imac?
my mac (mid 2007 iMac, 24" screen, 2,4 GHz 3gb ram) just made the cut for mountain lion and i am considering an upgrade and i just want to know how it runs if anyone has a similar setup.
the reason i ask is because i tried lion but had to go back to snow leopard because of choppy animations and lack of responsiveness. i've been searching a bit and found one forum topic which said it was smoother than lion. is this true?
Couldn't get it to do a clean install. Back to snow leopard. Lost some apps :(
Actually, it seems I have lost ALL of my apps and some documents because my backup decided not to come with me. I lost quite a bit.

It should run perfectly great on your iMac, it is the best operating system that Apple is ever come out with. The one thing that your iMac will lose though, is airplay. You will not be a will to use airplay. This is because iMac at a certain age are no longer allowed airplay with Mountain lion your iMac 2007 I know for sure will not be able to use airplay. If you use airplay a lot I recommend that you keep lion.
