Does anyone know of studies comparing the happiness of adherents to different religions?

I was looking for a study comparing the happiness and stress levels of Catholics to some group like Mainline Protestants or Fundamentalists, but nothing came up. It seems interesting enough, am I unable to find the studies or has no one ever taken interest in it?

Update:

Actually, studying happiness is relatively straight forward. Smiling is not one of the criteria, rather one would consider things like suicide rates and stress levels.

I have no idea why you had to come in here and try and defend the unhappiness of Atheists (skeptics can be theists or non-theists, so I assume you mean Atheists and Agnostics), I didn't even mention them.

The North Koreans 'look and act' the most happy... ;(

The fact that a believer is happier than a skeptic is no more to the point than the fact that a drunken man is happier than a sober one. GBShaw.

I came up with nothing too. I found a global study that was done but it cost $12 for me to read it.. and sorry dude.. I don't like you that much.

However, if you want to plunk down a few bucks, here you go:

Anyway, it might be a moot point. Another study done in 2010 indicated that it isn't God or faith that made them happier, but the friendship found at being part of the club:
