Your dog ever done some crazy "stuff" like this?!?

My dog attacked a raccoon last night, and left him... maimed, so i had to put it out of its miserty. i was afraid my dog got cut up, so i washed him, and he was completly untouched.

"FLAWLESS VICTORY" or what?

Agreed that it was a flawless victory. A couple of my past dogs have taken on 'possums.

It is called prey drive. Dogs bred to hunt and dogs bred to kill vermin are high in it. It is common and normal. I have three dogs that will kill small wild animals that get in the yard but I do not encourage it. I love all living things. I don’t know if I would call it a FLAWLESS VICTORY as most critters are just looking for food and minding their own business and not looking for a fight. Imagine you going to a hamburger place to eat and some dog kills you just because you are there. As I said I have three dogs that will kill critters but I am on the critter’s side.

My last dog, a 45 pound mutt, killed 5 beavers by herself... I think that is a pretty big accomplishment for such a small dog. She only got hurt once.
