Why wont my laptop charge?
I have a HP G72 laptop. My laptop wont charge sometimes. When i leave it for a week it can fill its self up again and remain like a normal battery. It wont charge regardless of whether or not the battery is in. I dont know why it does this its like it gives itself time to heal. lol. My laptop is about a year old but is in good shape. This is the only problem.
How do i fix this? what is the problem? Thanks

You should not leave the charger plugged-in with battery in laptop for weeks and months. It just kills the battery. That what happened with yours.
If you use laptop at home remove the battery,plug-in the laptop and run it from power supply (charger).
Keep battery being charged 40%.When you need laptop to take somewhere fully charge battery and use outside your home..
Usually Li-Ion battery serves 2-3 years (700-800cycles charge-discharge).
When laptop is always plugged-in with the battery always in, battery actually keeps discharging until it will be dead.

maybe you have a problem with the charger itself? there might have been some wires that were severed, thus not letting your unit receive enough electricity. or maybe, the slot (in the laptop) to where you connect your charger was stuffed/damaged or something. You should let a technician take a look at your laptop.
