When the Nazis are ANCIENT history. I wouldn't hold your breath.

Symbols do eventually re-emerge even if they hold negative connotations, but not until history forgets those connotations.

The swastika was not originally a Nazi symbol and is still used in some Asian cultures.

The earliest archaeological evidence of swastika-shaped ornaments dates back to the Indus Valley Civilization of Ancient India as well as Classical Antiquity. Swastikas have also been used in various other ancient civilizations around the world. It remains widely used in Indian religions, specifically in Hinduism, Buddhism, and Jainism, primarily as a tantric symbol to evoke shakti or the sacred symbol of auspiciousness. The word "swastika" comes from the Sanskrit svastika - "su" meaning "good," "asti" meaning "to be," and "ka" as a suffix. The swastika literally means "to be good".

As far as I'm concerned-- YES. It will ALWAYS represent he Nazis.

Hopefully, it will be acceptable to use the swastika again an eternity after Hell freezes over.

Probably not until Germany is deemed to be an "ancient, long-dead civilization" will it be considered acceptable to use the Swastika again.

2145 maybe. Provided no other group of fascists purloinn it in the meantime, the Nazis will be 200 years in the past by then.

It's a Hindu symbol first. Madame Blavatsky brought it into Germany, if I remember right.

Given the hate groups who have commandeered the cross to symbolize their hate, I wonder why the cross is still acceptable ...

    Who knows...

There is a pro-life movie out called 180 and in the opening sequences, a bunch of college students are asked who Adolf Hitler is, and a lot of them didn't know.
