My babys on ranitidine as well. Ask your doctor about giving him an ounce of fennel tea in the morning and at night. Fennel (aside for producing breastmilk) is also for acid reflux and gas relief. Also, be sure to keep him elevated. If he sleeps in a crib, put a large book under the mattress to give it elevation enough to help him keep everything down. Or you could put him in a reclined bouncy seat or his carseat or a swing. Letting a baby lie flat will make it worse. Is he on breastmilk or formula? If he's in formula, there are some formulas that can help as well and you shod discuss with your doctor about which type would be best for baby. You could also give him a little cereal before or after his milk whether he's in formula or breastmilk to help keep everything down as well.

Why don't the Dr's try a different med. Famotodine is not the only infant option for reflux? Also - if he has been on it for a bit it might need to be recalibrated to account for weight gain/growth.
