WHAT'S GOING ON WITH THIS GUY?

Question

I have a male friend who by all accounts everyone tells me is gay.  Yet since I've met him, he always seems to be studying me when I'm not looking.  When he asks me a question about myself (lately it was about my eyelashes), it shocks me that he is studying me so closely.  He does this while at the same time telling other guys that I'm a "good catch".  It's like he's impossible to figure out.  He teases me in a way that he doesn't with other female friends.  I'm unattached so I have no jealous husband or boyfriends.  What's going on with this?  I don't want to read into something that's not there.  He hugs me alot and planted a kiss on my lips not too long ago.  Anybody have any ideas?  It feels like I'm getting mixed signals.  Thankyou in advance!!!

First of all, don't believe what everyone tells you. Find out from the source, as sometimes they are just rumors people are dumb enough to spread for one reason or other. Assuming he is gay, he can still appreciate your attractiveness. It does not mean he's trying to GET with you. I think if he was, he'd have made a move by now, ask'd you out, something like that.... But by the sound of things, he's just really close with you & feels (friendly) a connection. Unless you are going to say something now, the truth will eventually come out (ignore the bad pun).

He might be bi... Or maybe he just gives off gay vibes and he's really not.. Or maybe he is just acting normal for a gay guy..
