Girls: thoughts on bras and bra shopping?

Its embarrassing? Yea kinda haha I don't really have a huge problem with it...

My bra doesn't fit to well, its awkward when they have to say "32DD" Or "34D" cus people stare and I'm 16, my bra is broken and there's part that's torn a bit, my boyfriend had to fix it with a piece of athletic tape...

I'm to lazy and don't have time to go to the next city over and go shopping cus my town doesn't have a mall. I have a couple others but they would show through my shirts and I don't feel like people looking at me for that reason.

I can understand why that would embarass you what with you being so young. Eventually you get to a point where you don't give a hoot what anyone else thinks about your size. To be honest, everyone is probably too busy trying to find their own size to notice you.

32B is a perfectly fine size. I happened to be a 32B up until a few months ago when I gained a bit of weight with my pregnancy. And I am 21, not 13.

I'm not sure which store you shopped at but usually when I go they ask me if I would prefer to be measured in the fitting room. Next time you go, right off the bat say to the salesperson, "I need to be measured but I would be more comfortable in the fitting room area."

An ill-sized bra is not only uncomfortable but not good for your girls. You should ask your mom again and explain to her that you don't have any bras to wear. Because really, you can't wear the one you have. It doesn't fit and is doing nothing for you.

Cheer up. Being a girl isn't so bad. You will feel better when you have some fresh, new bras.

Welcome to a woman's world. Your bra fitter should have been more considerate last time, and fortunately, most of them keep your business private instead of shouting across the store. I guess if you can't get more bras until mom takes you, you just need to wear baggy shirts for now and go at the next available moment. You can get away with some walmart sports bras or maybe a tank top under your shirts, too, or if you have any bikini swimsuits...use those for bras. OR ask someone else to take you to your fav place to shop for bras. A friend's mom, granny or auntie or neighbor. It should be pretty soon, if mom wants to take advantage of the back to school sales! So be patient.

But don't give up on fittings. Since you are growing and your sizes are always changing, you should get fitted every single time you buy a bra. Then after you are grown...if you have any weight gain or weight loss...or if you have any babies...get fitted again! The only way to really know what kind of bra works best for you is to know your correct size.

Also don't buy any bra online or from a catalog that you haven't tried the exact bra on in person.

Hate it. I have small boobs.. 32 A. Pretty embarrassing considering Im 18 and probably won't grow anymore. I hate choosing them and walking around with them and going to the register with them. The sad thing is Im probably gonna have to go for new ones very soon.

Where do you go where you get fitted in public. Sounds odd to me.

I hate the fact that I can never find my size. It's like if average is C cups and up. Not all of us have huge ****. I'm lucky if I find a bra my size.

I think its awkward. I'll stick to ordering online.
