Can someone help me cry?

I was wondering if anyone had any tips for me on how to cry. I won't tell you my life sucks for you to pity me, I really genuinely want to know how I can cry.

I very rarely cry, last time I cried was sometime last year and I need the relief that comes with crying more often than that. I have tried watching sad movies, but I've never been the one to cry from movies.

And please don't make jokes about being lucky that I can't cry, 'cause believe me, it sucks and it's making me more depressed... Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    You'll cry when it's time.

Forcing tears won't provide the emotional and spiritual relief you need and desire.

    some tricks actors use:

Hold your eyelids open with your fingers for 2 minutes

Expose your eyes to moving air (a fan works) and don't close them until tears form

Place your pointed finger up to your pupil

Rub salt water into the corners of your eyes

Rub tiger balm or mentholated petroleum jelly under your eyes. It stings but is very realistic

    Pinch hard under your eye

Peel and cut up onions near to your face - don't cut yourself

Your emotions are more extreme when you have some time alone to think. If you have a music player, don't use a sad song, but a meaningful one, one that makes you think hard about your situation, one that has you sort through your memories. Piano sometimes does the trick.

Although crying is a temporary reprieve from depression, it's not a fix-all. I hope you go and seek help.

I would suggest talking to a close friend/family member about whatever it is that's depressing you...usually if you talk it out, the tears will follow along. Otherwise, why not try to find a way to cheer up instead of relying on crying it out?

Just get a piece of ice and a thin napkin, and place it

At the bottom corners of your eyes, pushing down with little force. Try not to blink, but don't strain your eyes.

Diglett's nose is really a mouth. And the white bit on the corner of it is a tooth.

    That truly is soul destroying.

Think of someone who has hurt you or has died, or think of what it would be like if they died. Sometimes I don't cry at things and I slap myself not too hard on either my arm ir my face to maybe spark an emotion.
