Am I the only one who thought the finale of The Mentalist season 6 was lame?
I really like The Mentalist and I have followed every season since the third season started, warming up with a The Mentalist marathon before the season premiers. Just to give you an idea of how well I know the show. Just a little warning, this will contain spoilers - especially from 6x22 Blue Bird.
I was very anxious to see how this whole Lisbon/Jane romance thing would play out this season, now that Red John is out of the picture I expected that their romance would be the cliffhanger/major event of the finale. I just watched the season finale and I thought the whole thing was such a cliche and I felt embarrassed while watching it. I didn't find it very believable considering how Patrick usually acts with people, Lisbon in particular. The whole episode felt very predictable - I knew Jane set up the whole thing as soon as Abbott said Lisbon's transfer had to wait until the case was solved. And that Lisbon would find out. And that she would be mad. And that Jane would have to go after her and make up. I just hoped the writers were smarter and did that on purpose to surprise us with a twist.
The whole episode felt like a typical chick-flick… I expected a little bit more, I guess.
What's your opinion? Too much of a cliche or did you like it? … and why??
2 AnswersDrama7 years agoWhat anime should I watch? …and how can I watch it?
I have never actually watched anime, although I read manga from time to time. Preferably an anime that is kind of "mainstream" just to start with, and also because it'll probably be easier to find. But feel free to suggest a few more :)
Also… if you know anywhere I could watch anime online that would be great :)
Oh… and I already know of Attack on Titan and it is on my absolutely on my watchlist!
6 AnswersComics & Animation7 years agoSuggestions for a good TV series?
Recently I've been watching series like Bates Motel, Hannibal, and The Following. They are quite dark and they have a psychological aspect as well.
Now, I'm looking for a new series which is NOT like those. I love them! But it's heavy material...
A good drama/dramedie/thriller - doesn't have to be crime at all! Preferably a series which is still airing or was cancelled/ended this season.
A list of a few series I've also enjoyed lately:
Orange is the New Black
Homeland
Breaking Bad
The Walking Dead
Les Reventants
Hatufim
The Mentalist
Thanks :)
8 AnswersDrama7 years agoCarries mood disorder in Homeland? Bipolar?
I have seen in a bunch of recaps/reviews and such that Carrie is described as a bipolar CIA agent. Early on she admits to Virgil that her meds are for her mood disorder, but has it ever actually been specified as to being bipolar disorder?
And she doesn't mention Lithium as being one of her meds when she talks to Virgil about it in the pilot. I've come to understand that Lithium is the most common mood stabilizer for managing bipolar disorder..?
Anyone know? :)
1 AnswerDrama7 years agoSometimes I feel like I "forget" to breathe. Is that normal?
Today for instance, I was sitting on the bus. I took deep breathe and I could just sort of feel that I hadn't taken a breath for a while. It sounds strange, I know. Kind of like how you would take a breath coming up from swimming underwater. It's not like I am out of breath, so to speak, just one mild gasp for air. I don't know how to better explain it. This also happens when I lie in bed at night or other times when I am calm/not physically active.
Has anyone else experienced this? Or do you know why it could be?
2 AnswersRespiratory Diseases7 years agoYou know any good foreign language TV-series?
Not really too much more to say… I know of Les Revenants, Corleone, Forbrytelsen, Hatufim/Prisoners of War, BeTipul and Broen. Any other suggestions? I don't really care about the genre as I watch pretty much anything and everything :)
1 AnswerDrama7 years agoTV-series suggestions?
I am looking for a series in the thriller/horror-genre. I love American Horror Story, especially the first season. I recently watched Les Revenants, which I absolutely loved! Other than that I can't think of much else…
Just to be clear, I am not looking for The Walking Dead, Falling Skies and those types of series (I am currently watching them too, though). I really want the creepiness-feeling that AHS and Les Revenants do so well. American, British, French, German, Danish, Israeli… whatever, as long as it exists with English/Scandinavian subtitles I'm happy :) Thanks!
3 AnswersDrama7 years agoAWAKE tv-series on DVD.?
I am desperately trying to find the tv-series Awake on DVD, but for some reason it is nowhere to be found? Have they not yet released it on DVD? It's a while since it aired and normally it would released by now... I live in Europe so I am looking for Region 2 DVDs. Anyone know if/when it will be released and where I could get my hands on it?

When Taystee is leaving and she's dancing by the van there is a piano thing going on. Anyone know it?
1 AnswerDrama8 years agoCan "a regular person" be in the live audience at the Primetime Emmy Awards?
Not much more to add really… With so many people in the audience I was wondering if there are any tickets for sale or something? In that case, how do I get my hands on some? Anyone know?
1 AnswerMedia & Journalism8 years agoWhere could I work with an Anthopology (Archeology consentration) bachelor degree?
This is something I know I would love and something that would be really interesting for me to study, but I want to study something I could actually get a relevant job with. Anyone know where that might be?
1 AnswerOther - Careers & Employment8 years agoCan someone help me cry?
I was wondering if anyone had any tips for me on how to cry. I won't tell you my life sucks for you to pity me, I really genuinely want to know how I can cry.
I very rarely cry, last time I cried was sometime last year and I need the relief that comes with crying more often than that. I have tried watching sad movies, but I've never been the one to cry from movies.
And please don't make jokes about being lucky that I can't cry, 'cause believe me, it sucks and it's making me more depressed... Any help would be greatly appreciated!
