What anime should I watch? …and how can I watch it?

Okay, so I take it you have heard about the "mainstream" ones: Naruto, Bleach, Dragonball, One Piece. I don't really enjoy them as much as others, considering they have become pretty much like Pokemon.

Here's some I started out watching:

- Angel Beats (first I saw). It's sadness incarnate

- Highschool DxD. Perviness incarnate.

- Sora no Otoshimono. Funny perviness incarnate.

- Code Geass. Genius awesomeness incarnate.

- Sword Art Online. Mainstream awesomeness incarnate.

I use gogoanime.com (mostly subbed anime) when I watch, though Crunchyroll is good too.

Dragon Ball Z is a great one for you to start with, I'd say. It's the one that I got hooked on when I started watching anime. It's kind of slow in the beginning, I'll admit, but it sure does speed up!

There's also a manga to go with it. The prequel to this series is called Dragon Ball, but it has mulitple sexual/crude jokes in the first five episodes (it was just too much; that's why I stopped there). If you can take it, then you could watch that one as well. It would probably help you to understand Dragon Ball Z better, but it's not necessary AT ALL.
