Honestly, is it too late to begin gymnastics?
Hey! So I am 16 (boy) and I've always wanted to do gymnastics. I know you're supposed to begin young however you don't realize what you want til your older. So I am flexible and fit. I run cross country and do theatre. Anyways is 16 too late for a boy to begin competitive gymnastics? Also would I have to train with young kids in the begining to build a base? Thanks! Also feel free to give me any more pertinant information you think I'd find benefitial! Oh also is it impossible for me at this point to potentially participate in the olympics, It's also been a dream of mine

No, but I don't think you would be able to do the Olympics unless your super good and within the next few years get to elite level!

Well, olympics and serious/elite competitions are definitely still possible! But it may be hard, you just have to keep working. You will have to work hours and hours per week, but if you really want to do this, it's completely worth it.
