Am I going to get fired?
I called my job and told them I couldn't make it to work today because I was sick. I wasn't supposed to work today but one of he managers asked me yesterday if I could come in today. I told her yes. I just called her right now that I couldn't. She seemed upset. I've never missed a day before. If it helps I work part time. So do you think I might get fired?

No, not likely. She was upset because now she has to scramble to fill the shift, but that's not your fault. If you're sick, you're sick. If you've only been there a week, or if you had called off sick several times before, then you could have a problem.

I don't know if she will fire you, but she is understandably upset. What she was thinking probably wasn't that she wanted to fire you, but rather wondering what she was going to do shorthanded. You should call back later and apologize, in my opinion.

They can't fire you for calling in sick...what if your grandma fell down the stairs and broke her hip? Are you supposed to not be able to call in sick to help her? Are you just supposed to let her die on her basement floor? No. They have to let you be able to call in sick if you need to.

No, I don't think you will get fired. She probably understands, unless you're not really sick but I think you should call her and apologize to her.. BEFORE SHE GETS MAD!
