Is buying a 360 really worth it?

I plan on buying a 360 but it seems like its more pricy then the PS3 including, accessories, the console itself for what's included, and online. Seriously, what's so good about an Xbox 360?! What does it have that Playstation doesn't offer because I can't find the difference but everyone plays it. I mean so, there has to be something that makes everyone buy it and pay $60 a year to play against people online. If its really worth it I will be More then happy to put out $300 for 250gb, buy and extra controller that takes battery's, headset, etc.

360 is way better than Ps3 in my opinion. Ive had both by the way

This is simply because The Xbox360 is easier to use. The menus, downloading games, downloading ANYTHING for that matter is so much easier on xbox. And faster. Also, the xbox controller is better.

The Xbox 360 costs more because the software on it is a lot more user friendly and easier to use making it more expensive to develop, plus it has way better security than the PS3 (PSN was shut down for a month because of hackers once, Xbox Live has never had a problem like that) the controllers are more comfortable and are actually cheaper than the Ps3 controllers, plus you can buy rechargeable batteries for them and a play-n-charge kit that lets you plug it in to charge the battery and still play at the same time. The $60 a year halos keep the security up and it also helps pay for all of the Xbox exclusive DLC for some games and also makes it so that map packs and other add-ons for big games like COD and Skyrim come out on the Xbox 360 first and at least a full month earlier than the PS3, there are also weekly sales that put prices on certain items at 50% off if you are a Gold member. Also all of the updates load faster, the Xbox has a yearly dashboard update that it can load and install within 30-45 minutes and it also has a few small updates throughout the hear that take a few minutes and the game updates take about 2-5 minutes tops, plus the online service never needs to get shut down for maintenance. The PS3 has updates that take hours to download and the whole service gets shut down for a full day every now an dthen to perform maintenance on it. Overall the Xbox 360's online experience is a lot better than the PS3's and is also a lot easier to use and works faster, plus it has more options that the PS3 does not such as cross game chat so you can talk to a friend that is playing a different game, the PS3 can't do that.

The Xbox 360 also has Indie games available for download and has a larger library of good games to download in it's arcade. Not to mention most of the great games come out for the Xbox 360 first, and then either are ported to or have their sequels come out on the Ps3 a year later because Ps3 gamers constantly request them. Mass Effect was originally Xbox exclusive, so was Bioshock and Limbo and Portal, which are all some amazing games.
