To vote, click the word "Answer" on the upper right hand side of the page, then you can browse questions in all categories or you can choose a specific category.
You'll notice at the top of the questions list are 3 tabs "Open" "In Voting" and "Resolved". Choose "In Voting" for questions that you will be able to vote for Best Answer on. http://answers.yahoo.com/dir/index;_ylt=Ah1m0NcrGs...
When you click on a question you will see a blue "Vote as Best Answer" button under each answer. Click on the button under the answer you feel is best; you can also vote for "No Best Answer" but you won't get a point for that.
Perhaps you meant to to choose a Best Answer on your own question...that's choosing, not voting. To choose a Best Answer on your own question, starting one hour after you ask the question a "Choose as Best Answer" button will appear under any answers you have received. Click on the one under the answer you feel is best and follow the prompts.
You have 4 days (8 if you extend the question) to choose, after that the question goes to vote and you can only vote the same as any other user. After that you will see the "Vote as Best Answer " button for at least 2 days, and besides losing the chance to earn 3 points for choosing, the community may choose a different answer besides the one you feel is best or your question could remain unresolved in Tiebreaker status indefinitely.
