How do I deal with this?!?!?

Ok, so I have this neighbor, on a nice residential street, who is a complete bit*h. . . the friends come around between 11:30pm & 2:am almost every day, bumping their systems, parking RIGHT in front of my house and all up and down the street. Ive tried asking them to be a bit more considerate of their neighbors feelings, but to no avail. I've tried calling the police, but it takes them an hour to respond to a noise violation and all they did was drive by the house in question!! I couldnt believe it! Im frustrated beyond words and I dont know what to do. . . any suggestions?

Update:

I appreciate it Martin, but thats not an option. . . Im not willing to land myself in prison for the person

Is this a rental property? Or is there a home owners association? Those might be resources that can help, if not I would actually seek the counsel of an attorney. Perhaps being hit with a small claims court for noise pollution might shut them up. Also I would video tape the activity. Perhaps the other neighbors call all get together with you to get something done? 12 calls for excessive noise will get faster attention than just one person calling.

If a car is blocking your driveway, have the jerk towed. Keep calling the cops when they're noisy too, eventually they'll get sick of YOUR noise and actually do something about it.
