Ok, so I'm going to a party tonight and the dress code is "bosses shirt". Maybe I'm old school or something, but I don't know exactly what that means. . . I take it to be an over sized/ long button up the front dress shirt and heels.

Anyone know what this means? I've tried googleing it, but all that comes up is clothes.

I finally got a job! The thing is, the hours are 3pm to 12am meaning I will not be home to cook dinner. Does anyone have ideas for meals I can make ahead and have my husband warm in the oven? I have a crock pot and will be utilizing it at least once a week for stew, roast, enchiladas, etc. No one in my family will eat casseroles, so thats out.

I loaned my mother in law my $250 carpet shampooer and she broke it! I'm positive it was an accident but when I got it back from her she didn't say anything about it. I think she may have actually BOILED the water (instead of just using hot water from the tap) before putting it in the reservoir because the plastic parts in it are all melted and it leaks like crazy!

I HATE confrontation and avoid it like the plague so I really dont know how to handle this. I love my M-I-L and dont want to cause any trouble, but I need to be able to clean my carpet!!

Ok, so I have this neighbor, on a nice residential street, who is a complete bit*h. . . the friends come around between 11:30pm & 2:am almost every day, bumping their systems, parking RIGHT in front of my house and all up and down the street. Ive tried asking them to be a bit more considerate of their neighbors feelings, but to no avail. I've tried calling the police, but it takes them an hour to respond to a noise violation and all they did was drive by the house in question!! I couldnt believe it! Im frustrated beyond words and I dont know what to do. . . any suggestions?

My son has had a fancy mouse for just over a year and suddenly she doesn't seem well. She's lethergic, fatter than usual and won't eat anything. She has stopped running on her wheel and either her heart is beating really fast or her breathing is labored, I cant really tell.

Shes the only mouse we have so she isnt pregnant. She isnt wheazing or sneezing or anything. The worst part is that my son is visiting grandparents for the next week. . . If the mouse dies while he's gone it'll be awful and he'll think I cant be trusted to care for his pets :(

My husband and I want to move to Colorado. We have two kids, aged 9 and 7.

My question is what is the best suburb of Denver?

To expand on the question I mean. . . Who has great schools? Good jobs? Where can we rent for no more than $1150.00 a month? Which is located no more than an hour and a half from ski mountains? Low crime rate? Low cost of living?

I know it sounds nit-picky but when there are kids in the pic you have to be!

Any info/ insight you can give is greatly appreciated and will be researched, after all you are the CO experts :-)

I've been married almost 8 yrs now and this is the 1st time it's ever happened-- my husband knocked me into the corner of the wall and gave me a bloody lip. I don't even remember what we were fighting about, but I must admit that I scratched the shi* out of his neck trying to defend myself.

We've been together nearly 11 yrs, and he swears it'll never happen again, but I just don't know?

The closest family I have is 13 hours away, but I CAN"T put my kids through any more of this!!

Please help me find a resolution, I don't wanna be one of those who goes back and forth- if I leave it'll be for good.

A little extra info: I'm naturally a brunette with hazel green eyes and a light complexion. I've always looked best in "spring" colors--green, pink, purple, red-- so that's primarily what my wardrobe is made up of. Do any of these work with dk. red hair?

I have spent alot of time searching for a job I can do from home that doesn't require a "start up fee" or any selling. I have yet to find anything that I don't feel is a scam! If anyone out there has any ideas I would greatly appreciate your input!! Thanks :)
