Having an allegiance for a country is actually idol worship. Persons that pledge allegiance to their country would be bound by this pledge to die at any cost.: What about those who worship Jehovah? Perhaps the most notable thing about the Witnesses is their insistence upon their primary allegiance to God, before any other power in the world.

True Christians cannot surrender their “entire person” to a human government, since they have vowed absolute allegiance to Jehovah God alone. Witnesses living under totalitarian dictatorships have found that the demands of the State and the requirements of their faith are sometimes at odds. What have they done in the face of such conflicts? Historically, Jehovah’s Witnesses have applied in their lives the principle expressed by the disciples of Jesus Christ: “We must obey God as ruler rather than men.”—Acts 5:29.

Allegiance to your country is simple allegiance to god varies more on religion, I really don't have a religion (mostly due to what I am) but you just need to believe in god, your country and yourself.
