Volkswagen Jetta III 1995 with pretty low miles for the year.?
So I'm looking to buy my first car and I found a Volkswagen jetta III 1995 2.0L 4 cylinder the price is pretty reasonable. The only thing im afraid of is that it only has around 74k miles and that's pretty low for a 17 year old car. So I was wondering how long before I would have to wait to replace the trimming belt, clutch, fluids, ect.. And is it a reasonable buy?
Btw: A dealership is selling this car, the car fax said that they had one owner, ad the last thing that was reported was in 2006 where the car had 68k miles, and now in 2012 it has 74k, so i think is sat around or was driven not that much in the past 6 years. But this dealership sells import cars and such mostly. They told me they added a new exhausted and tuned it up. Plus they said they couldn't find anything wrong with the car, but like most dealers will tell you anything to sell you the car.

almost every thing dries out when a car sits, dry rot on all rubber parts, seals & gaskets. If this is a new car dealer & not one that sells all brands of used cars, I wouldn't think he would sell you a lemon. A 17 yr old car would be about $1000.00 no more.
