So i bought a car about a week ago, and the steering was difficult but i thought that the car didnt have power steering because it is a old car.. Its a 1995 Jetta volkswagen celebration edition 2.0L. Ive been driving it, and its hard to turn but i don't really mind. Its like driving without power steering. But i went in to get an oil change and they said i had a very leaky power steering rack, like its needs replacing. I was wondering do i need to replace it or will it damage the car more if i dont replace it for a while? They mechanic told me it was around 850 for parts and labor. I just bought this car, and i still need to pay for school and rent, and im not able to afford it at the moment... So can i drive with it damaged or will it damage my car in the long run.

The only thing im afraid of is that it only has around 74k miles and that's pretty low for a 17 year old car. Btw: A dealership is selling this car, the car fax said that they had one owner, ad the last thing that was reported was in 2006 where the car had 68k miles, and now in 2012 it has 74k, so i think is sat around or was driven not that much in the past 6 years. But this dealership sells import cars and such mostly. They told me they added a new exhausted and tuned it up. Plus they said they couldn't find anything wrong with the car, but like most dealers will tell you anything to sell you the car.

I have a toshiba satellite A205 series and when I turn on the computer my screen flickers and then goes really dim. I can see my desktop if I shine a light on it... I opened it up and all the wires are conected.. I think it might be the back light but the laptop is pretty old so buying a new LCD screen is a last resort. Is there anything else I can try?

I have back in my back when ever i put pressure on it, (press on it with my fingers) Its a dull pain and ive had it for over a week now. Its in the upper right quadrant.. about 3-5inches from my spine and about 2 inches from my hip. I only experience the pain when i put pressure on it.

Last night i drank pretty excessively... i got in a fight with my roomate and don't remember much.. i probably had 15+ drinks. In the morning i still felt out of it, but i went to get some food. Once i got there i couldnt even eat, all i did was buy a gatorade. But when i was in the diner (college campus) i all of a sudden had this terrible feeling... I just need to sit down because i felt like i was going to faint. As soon as i walked out of the door, my vision went black, and i couldnt see anything. I got to a bench and layed there and closed my eyes, i started hearing ringing in my ears, and only could hear muffles, i started sweating profusely, and by the time i came out of it which was about 2 or 3 mins, but felt forever. I was all wet...

Could this be from dehydration or something else?

My loving girlfriends 20th is coming up and i can't figure out what to get her. I'm creating this just to get ideas and suggestions from other people. But to tell some things about her so you get an idea on who she is. Currently shes a nursing student we both live very close to downtown Chicago. I looked for events/concerts but couldn't find anything that seemed interesting. I already took her to blue man group and most of the museums in downtown. I don't want to get her jewelry, because I've gotten jewelry for her before. She comes from a rich family, so everything she wants she pretty much gets. I considered buying stuff for biking, (shes goes biking a lot with her family), skiing, snowboarding, running, but unfortunately, her father buys most of this stuff for her.

I want to get her something creative.

If you guys know any place i missed by chicago that are cool to go to.

some kind of creative gift that's not jewelry

I was just wondering if capitalism affects health care in the United States anyway, but im more interested in the negative effects.

I'm in my first year of college trying to get my BSN. And I'm still unsure what i would want to specialize it. I was taking about being a ER nursing, because they seem like there always doing something and always on the go which i would like alot. But what other nursing specialties are fun to be haha..? I heard about nurse anesthetist and how they make a lot of money. But i don't really care about money, more just helping people. But a decent salary would be nice to. And plus i heard nurse anesthetist have no free time so i wouldn't like that at all.

But whats a good specialty for a Male nurse in chicago thats exciting to do and has decent pay?

Im writing a paper for philosophy, and i need 3 problems with morals that depend on religion or god.

So far im going to talk about the famous question Socrates asks in the Euthyphro: "Is the pious being loved by the gods because it is pious, or is it pious because it is being loved by the gods"

Then ill talk about how if morals depended on god, then god could flip a coin and choose whatever to be right or wrong.

And i just need a couple more points.

I'm in college, and apparently my buddy down the hall decided to smoke weed in his dorm room. I didn't know and i didn't even know he had weed in his room. The hallway smelled like weed, so i wasn't sure if it just go in his room or he smoked inside of it. But later that night when we were playing ps3, the campus security came knocking on my friends door while i was in there. They threatened to arrest everyone who was in the room. They raided my friends room, and found the weed. They arrested him, and let the rest of us go to our rooms. A week later i get a email saying i have a hearing, by the college dean board or whatever. So what can i say to them? I think its crap that i have to deal with this when i never did anything.

About 4 to 5 days ago, i went snowboarding with some buddies, and i fell on my shoulder pretty hard.

I went to the first aid dude and he gave me a sling for my arm, but i took it off after a hour and kept snowboarding since i want to get what i paid for lol. But the first aid guy said he doesnt think anything is dislocated or broken. When i put pressure on the area it doesnt really hurt (between arm and shoulder) like the bicep area and tricep area, but like when i move it fast it hurts or if i try to raise it up, which is difficult for me to do. The first aidguy said it might be a bone bruise but i dunno, if you think you know what it is can you tell me and how long it would heal?

Well I know this girl from my old house, we never really kept contact until one day she msged me on aim about a year ago, we had little talks here and there.

And im pretty sure she flirted with me a couple times but at the time i was like wtf are you talking about hahahaha xD.

But around April we started talking alot, ive talked to her some days till 5 am lol. Then i went to a communion and one of her friends told me she liked me. That was in May i think. But now the our conversions are getting shorter and shorter since there's less to talk about. Now i consider her as a really good friend, but she lives around 30 miles from me now, and i kind of have no way to get there. I cant get this girl out of my mind sometimes i lay awake in bed thinking about her, i plan to ask her out when she comes here to visit my twin sister because i think asking someone out over the phone or aim is kind of lame

and she keeps saying shes going to come over but im either somewhere out of town or she doesn't have a ride.

and i feel like im running out of time, because its been a while already.

Btw im pretty good friends with her alrdy, we almost talk everyday its just that i dont have ride to her house. But i would ride my bike all the way to her house LOL. xD

can someone tell me what to do..
