Planned obsolescence of medicines. Manufacturers of pharmaceutics are no strangers to greed, the impact upon people's lives be damned. Therefore, some sell intentionally weaker medicines (esp. antibiotics) in order for the effects to last for a shorter period of time, so that patients would need to buy them more often in order to keep their conditions under control.

Source(s): I've read about this practice in an interview with a doctor that spoke out against it.

    1) They help the rich but cheat the poor since they don't have money to invest in.

    2) They waste money on advertisment.

    3) They may trick the peoples into spending on useless things.

    4) If they are going bankrupted, then they will break the law and cheat the peoples to survive.

Capitalism motivates development of new drugs and treatments, so people live longer, so they need more healthcare over their lifetime.
