When will the Packers retire Favres jersey?Will he be in the Hall of Fame before that happens?

I think eventuly they will.Lets face it neither one wants anything to do with the other and it is going to be awkward.Favre complaing that he doesn't have a statue outside the stadium yet is really funny.I wonder if he will be booed when it does happen.

I think mark Murphy said it would be in a couple years. Based on his interview on nfl total access, Favre didn't seem like he was focused on it too much, so I'm not sure. I hope his jersey is retired before he goes into the hall of fame, but watching them both try to come to an agreement on when should be interesting. I think he most likely won't. My bet is in 2-3 years his jersey will be retired.

Although he won't ever say it...you know Ted Thompson is thinking it...."When hell freezes over!!!" Those 2 hate eachother!!! As long as Ted keeps producing winners, (which looks like for a while) he will keep his job. Which means no jersey #4 retirement. Surprised I have not seen it on a rookie's back yet. Maybe he has tried to force it on a rookie and they are like NO WAY DUDE!!! I would say 6-8 years.

Nobody outside or probably even inside that organization has an answer. They will do it when they feel it's necessary. I'm sure he will be in the hall of fame not too long from now.
