Magic the Gathering ONLINE question?

I'm having an issue with my Magic: the Gathering Online program that I'm hoping someone who uses it can solve. Basically, I know that within the Combat Phase, there is the attacks phase, blocks phase, and damage phase. There should be a time after the opponent declares attackers on their turn that I gain priority BEFORE blockers have to be announced. For some reason, my game client is skipping straight from declare attackers to declare blockers, so I don't get to respond by flashing in any creatures to block (Wolfir Avenger, Faerie Invaders, etc.). How can I set it up so it does not to this by default?

In MTGO, the game assumes that players pass priority at the end of each Step unless a Stop is placed on that Step. MTGO starts with a default set of Stops placed, but they aren't in particularly good locations for the most part.

To place or remove a Stop, just right-click on that step in the "turn pane", and you'll get options to toggle a stop for that step on your turn and another option to toggle a Stop on that Step in your opponents' turn.

You mean the declare attackers and declare blockers steps...

But you can set up stops if the program isn't stopping where you want it.Go into options and there should be the turn where you can set stops, or the other way to do it is to right click a step when in a game and choose to have it stop on your turn or on an opponent's turn.

You need to set up some stops on the client to give you a chance to act.
