Anyone else miss VCRs?

I dunno why, but i feel kinda sad nothing comes out on video anymore. It's all DVDs and BlueRays and what have you. I remember having to tape over previous films to get a new one. I think I just prefer them to DVDs, they're less flimsy and don't scratch.

What do you guys think?

No don't really miss vhs tapes. They took up a lot of room and weighed quite a lot if you had over 200 of them. Don't miss having a VCR being dirty and eating tapes either. I have owned DVDs for several years without getting them scratched up. But have owned several VHS tapes that broke during play back or rewinding. At least with a scratched DVD, you could use a DVD buffer, to polish/buff the scratch down, to where it is not a problem, at least as long as the DVD wasn't use to skate around the house! LOL

The nice thing about rewritable DVDs is just like with VCRs, you can over write them as many times as you want or better yet, just add to them if you want.
