How many miles should i run a day if im 5'7 200 lbs and need to drop to 173 in 11 months?

Im joining the army and i need to get down to 173 but i wanna go lower than 173 so how many miles should i run if i wanna get to that weight?

    Well my dad used to be 215 and now hes 205 and he just walked for a month. (every afternoon with my dog) so 2 miles a day? Walking takes longer but like i said if u walk it takes longer but is easier. Through out the whole year, 616 miles will be the number if you walk or run 2 a day. Then u may be 150 or so. Good luck!     If your dieting then one mile will do it. Maybe do 3 miles once a week. As long as your dieting... Make sure not to eat unhealthy after an intense run.

    that all depends on how much your eating a day. if you wnated to you could lose the weight without running although it would be much harder and less healthy. i would reccommend seeing you much you can run at first and build on that. maybe try to add a mile every month or two
