What are some funny musical audition songs?
I'm auditioning for 'Thoroughly Modern Millie' in 4 weeks. I'm 13, I have a broad range (mainly a soprano), and I want a fun or crazy song. I was thinking 'My New Philosophy', 'Shy', or a 'Seussical' song (like 'Amazing Gertrude'), but please tell me if that wouldn't be good for this audition. I've never heard of or seen this play. I need something quick and easy to learn. Tell me if there are any other upbeat songs, Thanks!

Mayzie's songs from Seussical are quite fun. I love "How Lucky You Are". You could also try "Born to Entertain" from Ruthless, "Be Kind to Your Parents" from Fanny, and "I Want it Now" from Willy Wonka.

I love the Seussical! The songs are amazing! Amazing Gertrude is great, It's possible, oh the thinks you can think. I love them. I'm 13 too and we did that last year.

Hey. I have always liked this song "Big Pink Blanket" by Hundred little reasons. It is quite fun and very lovely.

You need a really funny song to make a lasting impression. I suggest the song 'I Believe' from the Broadway show the book of mormon. It is a satire of Mormon beliefs, but it is more funny than offensive, and you'll get a good laugh.
