Working 8pm until 3am at McDonalds?

I live fairly far away and taking a taxi would cost me half my shift money and I do not have a car that I can take. Buses don't run at that time. How do the managers expect me to get home? I"m just wondering. By the way I am an 18 year old female.

Well, the managers at this point would expect you to be honest and tell them that you are unable to work this shift. It's unrealistic for them to assume otherwise, and there is no way that you'd be able to get a ride every time unless someone lives down the street from you.

Sorry, but how you get to work and back home is YOUR problem, not your managers.

You can ask to be scheduled when busses are running, but they don't have to do it.

Unfortunately transportation is all on you!
