Istanbul at the end of Ramadan - which tourist sights will be closed?

I'm going to be in Istanbul in mid-August, and I understand that there's a three day public holiday from 18-21st. Can anyone tell me which sights will be closed for the whole holiday, or point me at an English language website with definitive info?

Also, will public transport be affected?

    That is a good time to go - there is an amazing festival all round Sultanhamet square with hundreds of stalls and people picknicking around the fountains in the evenings. Do not miss it. Plenty of places will be open,

    Yes public transport will be affected, because people leave work in mid afternoon and rush home to get changed - then they come back into the Sultanhamet area and all try to get there at the same time. There is a traffic jam and the street cars are packed, so make sure to add extra time if you have to travel around there during the early evening.
