Chinese water dragon help!?
I bought a small water dragon about a month ago. It is still very small. About 3 inches from nose to base of tail. When I bought it he was bright green, about 3 weeks ago he turned brown and shed his skin. Well like I said its 3 weeks later and he's still brown! Is this normal or is something wrong?

If all his temps and humidity are ok, then it might be normal. Please ensure that the ambient temp is between 84-88, with a basking temp of 95, and humidity is about 80%.

He shed ALL? his skin? if he didnt turn bright green after his shed. This is not normal. Now shedding in parts is normal. You need to make sure his humidity says at least around 70 % should be 80% but this is difficult at best with a screen top. The humidity will help them shed properly. Aloe Vera will also aid there shed, its much cheaper then easeshed and a very easy plant to keep.
i recommend this site it will answer about any question you'll have. Triciaswaterdragon.com she has a very informative site and recommended throughout the waterdragon comm.
At the sametime, three Weeks later, it could be starting another shed. But if it didnt shed completely by now i really recommend getting aloe and applying it daily... Make sure to check out that site too.
Wish you and your dragon a happy life =)
