umm, just off the top of my head,
some Aussie slang phrases:
It's carked it ---> it died
Its a ripper ---> It's really good
Spitting the dummy ---> temper tantrum
smoko --> snack break
sticky beak ---> nosy person
people say; Too right for definitely
Bogan ---> haha hard to explain, you can look it up ;)
Yobbo ---> uncouth
to take the piss out of something is to make fun of it/have a joke about it
haha yeah...just a few random things that us Aussies say :)

Nobody here can pronounce water right. That's not really slang, but god dammit, it gets on my nerves. "Wooder".
We calls sub sandwiches 'hoagies'.
We call the train/subway the El or L or however that's supposed to be spelled.

You can't get blood from a turnip. My friends up north say " you can't get blood from a stone". I pointed out that a stone had no blood before I realized how stupid it made me sound, since turnips had no blood either. I live in West Texas.
