    umm, just off the top of my head,

    some Aussie slang phrases:

    It's carked it ---> it died

    Its a ripper ---> It's really good

    Spitting the dummy ---> temper tantrum

    smoko --> snack break

    sticky beak ---> nosy person

    people say; Too right for definitely

    Bogan ---> haha hard to explain, you can look it up ;)

    Yobbo ---> uncouth

    to take the piss out of something is to make fun of it/have a joke about it

    haha yeah...just a few random things that us Aussies say :)

    Nobody here can pronounce water right. That's not really slang, but god dammit, it gets on my nerves. "Wooder".

    We calls sub sandwiches 'hoagies'.

    We call the train/subway the El or L or however that's supposed to be spelled.

    You can't get blood from a turnip. My friends up north say " you can't get blood from a stone". I pointed out that a stone had no blood before I realized how stupid it made me sound, since turnips had no blood either. I live in West Texas.
