Does anyone here live in Irving, Dallas? I need an answer about your area quick!?

I have a pal staying in a hotel in Irving for just a day. I want him to go over to Dallas and to Dealey Plaza and take a few pics/videos of himself at the JFK Assassination Museum for me, since I can't go myself. But as he has just a few hours everything depends on how fast he can get there and back. Can you assist in providing some info on rough distance from Irving to Dealey, what's the probable traveling time and what's the best mode of public transport and fare (cab, train, bus) and finally where to stop (station, street, etc) and any other useful info? Thanks so much! Please hurry, he's leaving tomorrow (Tuesday).
