Christians how do you pray to a silent God?

So in the bible it says something like ask and you shall receive right? So at times (never ask much) I pray for something and I automatically feel better and I receive it like not as soon as possible but quick and other times I wait a really long time and get it then but what I don't understand is that if what you ask for one day and He won't pass it to you how do you know he even heard you

God has a plan for you and sometimes you have to wait because god has to work what you ask for into everyone elces schedule for life as well but it is mainly about patience

There is a place within our Souls that knows that He is there and that He hears each and every one of our prayers. But this is not that place. This is place where we can play games and pretend other things and not be too concerned whether He even cares or not. And argue the point way beyond any service to advancement other than to throw stimulation around to help feed a hunger that will never be satisfied even when they are Souls and know better. One thing is what is written in the Bible and another thing is what your Heart and Soul are telling you. They are where God is. Not here in the outbound areas of finite material manifestation reacting to causes of prior determination just to be what we are, the balance point between reality and how it will be for us in the future hoping that the past doesn't catch up with us and turn us all back into pre-matter waiting to be formed again. Something we don't worry about on the plane of the Heart and Soul.

God knows what we need before we do, remember that God operates on his own time-frame and sometimes it doesn't sync with our own. So what we may perceive as God not hearing us or ignoring our prayers, is simply God working in his own way.

  • He's not silent.

"There are not more than 100 people in the world who truly hate the Catholic Church, but there are millions who hate what they perceive to be the Catholic Church. ....As a matter of fact, if we Catholics believed all of the untruths and lies which were said against the Church, we probably would hate the Church a thousand times more than they do."

    God is not silent.

When it seems as if He is, I work at getting closer to Him so I can hear Him better.

Maybe when He seems silent, it is because He said "No." and we did not pay attention, or thought that it must have been somebody besides Him that said it.
